SAMPLE BAR GLAM PACK | August Unboxing + Thoughts

Saturday, August 17, 2013

A new month, a new glam pack! I have been waiting for this since the calender ticked over to the 1st, but only received it yesterday. Obviously they are running a wee bit behind, but not that I care because this Glam Pack looks like a goodie!! Straight off the bat, you get 6 products (well technically 7 due to the Shampoo/Conditioner), a bonus from the usual 5! The theme of this months is 'Put Your Best Face Forward'. Now into each item...

PRODUCT 001. Obiqo Gentle Face Wash [RRP $29.50 (100ml)]
Already from the first product I made back what I paid for this pack (they are $25 including shipping). I'm not one of those people who tend to stick with one face wash and have recently been trying out some new ones just to see how they go - this one sounds very promising! It is enriched with extracts of sea kelp and anti-oxidant sea lavender as well as chamomile and cucumber. More products from this company here.

PRODUCT 002. Nimue Rejuvenating Mask [RRP $91.00 (60ml)

This is an adorable little 12ml sample, and considering the full size is so expensive this is such a good sample size to test! It has a pump applicator which will help to ration the product out. You apply it for 10 minutes and after should have 'dramatically rejuvenated skin'. Find more about it here. Looking forward to trying this!

PRODUCT 003. Angel Professional Shampoo + Conditioner for Coloured Hair [RRP $23.50 (250ml)]
Last month I tried the Angel Soften Spray and absolutely love it, so I have high hopes for these. They are 100ml bottles (perfect for travel!) and have marine collagen in them - apparently great for moisturising and strengthening hair, while also giving it shine, volume and protects and repairs.

PRODUCT 004. I Love... Shimmer & Shine Lip Gloss in Vanilla & Ice Cream [RRP $9.95 (15ml)]

This is from a new UK brand now available in NZ pharmacies and the website can be found here. To be honest I am really not a lip gloss person, I hate sticky-ness and glittery lips and would much prefer a balm or lipstick over a gloss anyday! But I am open to trying this one out because it really does smell delicious! They come in a bunch of different flavours, like Mango & Papaya, Coconut & Cream and Strawberries & Milkshake to name a few.

PRODUCT 005. Le Tan Tanning Gel [RRP $22.99 (150ml)]

This comes in a handy 35ml size and is a gradual tan that develops over 4 hours for a natural looking tan. In the tube there is no hint of that fake tanning smell, instead it smells deliciously of coconut. Spring and summer are on its way, so this sounds like a great product for the coming months.

PRODUCT 006. NAT. Restore Moisture Cream [RRP $55.00 (50g)]

A bonus product, how exciting! It is the cutest little 5ml sample of a moisturiser that is set to improve elasticity, tone and brighten your complexion, while repairing environmentally damaged skin. It is from there NAT.face range, worth a look here.

Super impressed this month, all products sound amazing now to just give them all a go! Seeing as I received this mid-August I think I will move my end of month review to early/mid-September, before that one arrives.

Has anyone tried any of these? Let me know in the comments, would love to hear!
