ilovebeauty // First HaulMonday, September 23, 2013
ILoveBeauty is a new website just launched here in NZ. They're campaign to get the word out about this new site was pretty great, you just had to sign up and they sent you a free mascara, no strings attached! It took them about a month or so until they launched their website, it has a great range of all kinds of beauty products for such good prices. A couple of weeks a go they had a one day offer where you brought one item and then they gave you free shipping, a free mascara and a free OPI nail polish of your choice - I mean, honestly, how good is that!
Although they said shipping would be 3-5 days it took a week and a half, I think they had a few teething problems but hoping they have sorted it all out now.
001. Revlon Post Trauma Nail Treatment // $5.99
For the offer, this was the product I brought, so I paid only $5.99 for all three of the items I received, pretty awesome! My nails have been in pretty bad shape as I usually am never without polish on them. I thought I would give this a try. I find it quite similar to the OPI Matte Nail Envy, the same thick, translucent consistency, and it dries super fast. It doesn't dry completely matte like the OPI and has a very light pink colour to it, but it makes your nails look so healthy and fills in ridges whilst also treating them at the same time. I think I prefer the OPI but this one is a close second and a cheap alternative. I think I will use this a base coat rather than a treatment.
002. Maybelline Define-A-Lash Volume Mascara in Very Black
This was the mascara they sent out for free initially, and they also included it with this deal as well, so I now have 2. It is a really good mascara, gives good volume as well as length and it doesn't clump at all! The brush is slimmer in the middle and it flexible so helps to coat all lashes.
003. OPI Liquid Sand in Solitaire // $17.99 (But I received this free with the offer)
I was completely enticed by the offer of a free OPI and it took me a while to decide on the one I wanted! I have been eyeing this liquid sand OPI from the Bond Girls collection for a while and I am so glad I got it! It dries a matte sandy texture and this one has sliver glitter through it which adds a really unique finish to it.
Although this offer is no longer available, they do have 3 for 2 OPI and heaps of other deals, so if you are in NZ go and check it out, I'm sure I will be buying a lot more off there.
