LIVING NATURE // Lipstick in Bloom | Review + SwatchesFriday, November 14, 2014
I've been lucky to try out some skincare items from NZ brand Living Nature (see reviews of the Skin Steps Kit here and Manuka Honey Gel here), but I've not tried their makeup range, although I've always been curious about it. They recently released this beautiful new lipstick in the shade Bloom* in support of the Breast Cancer Network NZ, with $1 from every sale going to support BCN, and now that I've tried this lipstick I'm eyeing up a lot more from the makeup range!
Living Nature focus on all natural aspects across their skincare and that is no different to their makeup range. Their lipsticks are formulated with earth derived minerals, natural pigments and vegetable waxes, so they are totally safe for all skin types. This brand new shade Bloom, is beyond beautiful. Described as a vintage hot pink, it glides onto the lips with ease and complete opacity. It has a creamy and moisturising feeling to the lips, but it doesn't slip and slide around like other lipsticks. It dries down slightly on the lips which makes it last for a good few hours before you need to touch up the colour. The packaging has the black rubberised finish to it, which looks and feels sleek and sophisticated, I also love the unusual shape of the bullet, it makes it easy to get a crisp and defined line when using it.
Living Nature ship worldwide, and this lipstick can be purchased for NZD $40.00 here. The price tag might seem a little expensive, but it is an extremely high quality lipstick and knowing that it is all natural makes a lot of difference.
What do you think of this shade? Have you used makeup from Living Nature before?
