NOTD // Essie Sand Tropez + OPI Gaining Mole-MentumWednesday, January 21, 2015
Neutral shades with an added bit of glitter to them are always some of my favourite manicures and these two polishes, from two different brands (Essie and OPI) were almost made for each other!
Essie Sand Tropez is relatively new to my nail polish collection and was one I was desperate to get on the nails. It is a neutral polish lovers dream shade; it's sort of a grey, browny beige (vague enough for you?). But it's one I think looks super flattering on the nails. It needed the normal two coats, and dried to a glossy finish sans top coat. To get a bit of glitter action going on, I decided to add an OPI one in the form of Gaining Mole-Mentum from a Muppets Collection last year. The subtle pink tones and golden flakes looks amazing with Sand Tropez and the glitter has great payoff.
What do you think of this combo? Do you own Essie Sand Tropez?
