LUST HAVE IT | Women's Beauty Box November '15 - Unboxing + Initial ThoughtsWednesday, December 16, 2015
I realise it hasn't even been a whole month since the last Lust Have It arrived (see it here), but I've already had the November Women's Beauty Box* arrive and wanted to share the contents ASAP because it's a pretty good one this month! If you're a new reader, or curious about LHI, it is a monthly beauty subscription service that ships to Australia and NZ, where you are sent at least 5 sample products (although a lot are full sized) for AUD $19.95 plus $2.95 for shipping. This month's bag came with 5 products, plus two bonus items, three of which are full sized.
Manna Kadar LipLocked Lippie Priming Lip Wand in xoxo | RRP $24.00 (2.5g)
I love lip products that come in pencil form or stick form as I find you can get a bit more precision with them. I was really blown away at the pigmentation of this one; it has a semi matte finish and the shade xoxo is a really nice burnt red, with a hint of brown through it. They contain vitamin A & E to help keep the lips moisturised throughout the day. There were a number of other shades you could receive.
Evelyn Iona Natural & Organic Concealer in Flawless | Full Size RRP $19.80 (3g)
This is a little 1.7g sample pot of a concealer from a natural brand based in the US. It promises to be smooth and creamy with light coverage but will still hide imperfections. I'm hoping the colour match will work out, and might give it a try for my undereyes.
Coral Colours Love Lips in Peach Sorbet | RRP $6.99
You can never get enough lip balms, and when they have a bit of colour to them, you can't go wrong! This one from the very affordable brand Coral Colours is moisturising and light, and also has pretty decent pigmentation as you can see in the swatch above. There were six possible shades you could receive.
Garnier Miracle Skin Cream Anti-Aging Skin Transforming Care | Full Size RRP $19.99 (50ml)
This is an adorable 5ml sample size of a day cream from Garnier, perfect to take travelling with! This cream promises big things claiming that in 28 days, wrinkles and imperfections will be reduced with the skin being firmer and more even overall - a big claim to make! I look forward to trying this one out.
Ulta3 Cream Blush Stick in Bold Apricot | RRP $6.95 (5.8g)
The past LHI boxes have included a lot of ulta3 makeup items, and this time around inside was one of their Cream Blush Sticks (4 shades available). I really like cream blushes and on first impressions this one seems to be really nice, the pigmentation is great, it glides on easily but then blends out well and has a powdery finish to it once on the skin.
There's always at least one bonus product thrown in, for November I received a 2-pack of the Carefree Ultra Thins Regular Pads (Full Size RRP $4.29), which is great because you always need pads! If you want some free samples from Carefree, check out their website here. And then also some more tea bags from the Your Tea Skin Magic Tea that have been included in the past two month's of LHI bags.
The overall value for the November bag was around AUD $53.00, not bad for the $20 you pay for it, and the three full sized makeup items are actually really decent. If you would like $5 off your first box you can use the code CASSMYEE1 and try out a LHI subscription for yourself.
What do you think of the November offering? Any products in here you would be keen to try out?
