To be honest I've never used a kit like this before and have opted for more traditional hair removal techniques but introducing this into my beauty routine has been a great addition. This can be used on the bikini area, underarms and legs (although I haven't used it on my legs as the tools not really big enough to cover such a large surface area - I say just stick to the underarms and bikini area!)

As a newbie to this sort of thing I found it really easy and straightforward to use and the different trimmers really helps to get a clean shave with a lot of precision. As you can see the kit comes with three different trimmer attachments, an exfoliating brush, a little brush to help clean the blades, a charging cable, and a handy little bag to store everything in.

On first opening the kit you need to charge it for 24 hours before use, and then you will have 30 minutes of running time before it need to be charged again for 14-16 hours. The charge time does seem a little ridiculous but after every couple of uses I just chuck it on charge overnight so it's ready to use again.

The whole thing is waterproof and cordless, although it can't be submerged totally in water, so it's best used in the shower and it has a very handy hook to hang it up with. It can be used wet or dry though and doesn't really effect the result either way. I really like the design of it and it makes it easy to hold and manoeuver, with one switch on the front that turns it off and on.

The main head is the Precision Bikini Trimmer which can be used without the comb guard, or the plastic guard can be attached and it has three positions, so you can get various lengths. They suggest you use it without the guard for the bikini line, and with the guard inside the bikini area. There's also a smaller Detail Trimmer for edges and shaping, this one doesn't have a guard and is perfect for getting close in the bikini line. The Foil Shaver is designed for smaller areas, and can also be used on fine hairs on the face. I like to use this for my underarms as it gives a nice close shave and no irritation. Lastly there is an Exfoliating Head, so it helps to gently exfoliate the skin so it's smoother and you will be less likely to get ingrown hairs.

I've had a really good experience with the kit, no pulling of hairs, or hairs getting stuck etc (that would be extremely painful!) It's simple to use and the variety of trimmers make it versatile for different areas on the body. The kit can be found at department stores, and places like Briscoes etc, and retails for $99.99.

Have you used a kit like this before? Do you think you'd be interested in using this Remington one?
