ESSIE | 2016 Fall Collection - Review + SwatchesMonday, March 21, 2016
You should all know by now my essie obsession is out of control, and when new collections come out each season I am always beyond excited to get my hands on the new shades. The Fall collection* that will be hitting stands soon has some gorgeous shades in it that are going to be my Autumn staples.
The Fall Collection has a total of six shades in it (I only have 4 out of the 6 to share). The other two shades are; With The Band, a 'toasted spiced burgundy', and Color Binge, an 'addictive orange-red' according to the essie website.
Instead of the other two shades, I was sent these two nail care products to try out. I've not used any of the essie base coats but absolutely love the Gel Setter Top Coat* (I'm actually almost finished it!) The All-In-One Base* can actually be used as a base coat, top coat and it also works as a nail strengthener too. First Base* is a base coat that helps to prime the nails and also adheres the colour to the nials for longer wear.
Now onto the gorgeous Fall/Autumn line up. Bell-Bottom Blues is an 'intense midnight indigo' that is packed with micro shimmer. In The Lobby is what I currently have on my fingers and toenails and is an 'exotic cinnamon plum'. Frock 'n Roll is a shimmering rich espresso and Leggy Legend is an ' alloyed bronzed bombshell' - although I think it's a lot more golden then it is bronze.
Bar In The Lobby (which is gorgeous, but I find is similar to other shades), the other three are very unique and all stunning. I can see myself using Frock 'n Roll a lot this Autumn/Winter. As with all other essie polishes, the formula is always on point and the swatches show two coats. The brushes are all wide so you can coat the nail in basically one go.
essie is available at Farmers for $19.99 each and these should be on stands now!
Do you think you'll get any polishes from this Fall collection?
