MOST LOVED | October '16Monday, October 31, 2016
Well, who can really believe a month is over again? I swear, I only just did my Most Loved for September, now it's time for October one already... crazy! This month was a little tricky to whittle down some products as I have been trying lots of new things and not really using one thing solidly, but there have been some standouts.
The Body Shop Drops of Light Pure Healthy Brightening Day Cream*
Just the other day I posted my review on this product and a couple other new Body Shop additions. I have found myself reaching for this day cream regularly and loving it on my skin. Despite being a tad on the oily side, this makes me feel hydrated but also works well under foundations. It's a lightweight texture and sinks into the skin easily. As for brightening, I do think it has made a difference in my dark spots and acne scars!
Sebastian Professional Taming Elixir Weightless Smoothing-Creme Serum*
This is my first time using a hair care product from Sebastian (which can be found at some salons), and after the first use, I was hooked! This is used on freshly washed, damp hair to help tame, smooth and hydrate the ends of the hair. I do about 2 pumps of this and run it through the roots, and focus on the ends. Once I blow dry, my hair feels so much softer than it does without using this. It has become a staple in my routine now.
Natio Natural Shades Eyeshadow Palette in Golden
I recently bought this palette earlier in the month as it was only $28, and I had a $10 off voucher from Farmers. Plus, we all know that I can't resist an eyeshadow palette. I swatched it in store and was so surprised by how pigmented the shades were and I love the selection. There are great matte shades that every girl should have and beautiful soft metallics and shimmers. I'll do a swatch post of this soon and I think it would make an awesome Christmas gift. Natio for those who are unfamiliar is an all natural Australian brand that makes skincare, body care and makeup.
Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Powder in 02 Medium*
I love discovering amazing powders, and it's always a bonus if they are affordable! This Collection one is not only really good value but is also available at the supermarket (which is also dangerous!) It keeps my skin matte for longer than usual, as well as giving extra coverage too. It's a good one for touch ups, as it has a sponge and a mirror, and is a convenient size to throw in your bag.
L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper in Clear*
A clear brow gel is a must in my opinion, although tinted is my preferred, sometimes if I want to keep things looking more natural I reach for clear. This one from L'Oreal isn't crispy at all in the brows, but keeps things in place and gives a bit of texture. The wand is the perfect shape too, and not too large so you get it everywhere; you can be quite precise with it. The tinted version of this is apparently amazing so I definitely need to give them a go. Plus the black outer packaging means you can't see how manky and disgusting it looks inside!
What products did you love this month? Have you used any of these?
