MAX FACTOR | Masterpiece Nude Palette Contouring Eye Shadows in 03 Rose Nudes - Review + SwatchesWednesday, March 15, 2017
So it seems lately that my blog has become a swatch and review of lots of eyeshadow palettes, so I apologise if that is not your thing but I have had such an influx of palettes and shadows to try out I can't help but share them! Eyeshadow palettes are one of my favourites things about beauty and makeup. For a while, I would just do a quick dust and then be done with it, or would just go bare and load up the mascara, but nowadays I love playing with shadows and I love how they can make the eyes look. You would have seen me raving about these Max Factor Masterpiece Nude Palette Contouring Eye Shadows, and they have just added a new limited edition colourway in 03 Rose Nudes*, and oh my, it is lovely!
As you can see I have been really enjoying the first two offerings and have done swatches and reviews on both of them: 01 Cappuccino Nudes* here and 02 Golden Nudes here. I have been using them a whole bunch lately and love the pigmentation, shade selection and how compact the palettes are. The newest addition, Rose Nudes, is a gorgeous selection of pinks and purple tones.
Like the other two palettes, the pigmentation is amazing on all of the shades. You get 8 shades in this palette, with 3 matte shades and 5 shimmer shades. The mattes are rich, and the shimmers/metallics are beautiful and soft and buttery. I love that there is a mix of softer shades for during the day but the darker shades make this versatile with the ability to create different looks as needed. The only issue is there is a bit of fall out, but it doesn't bother me because I just love how the shades look and how easy they are to work with. I can't rave about these palettes enough and if you are after something more affordable but amazing quality, don't overlook the Max Factor stand!
These palettes are NZD $33.99 each, a price which I think is really amazing considering how well these perform. The Rose Nudes won't be around for ages, so best to snap it up now if you like the look of these gorgeous shades.
Have you used these palettes from Max Factor before? What do you think of this shade selection?
