SWEET SPARKLE | Sunset Dream July - Monthly Unboxing

SWEET SPARKLE | Sunset Dream July - Unboxing - CassandraMyee

I am a little bit behind with sharing the July offering from Sweet Sparkle*, a beauty subscription service based in the US, but better late than never right. It also means no spoilers if you receive this box yourself!

SWEET SPARKLE | Sunset Dream July - Unboxing - CassandraMyee

The theme for the July box was 'Sunset Dream' - as the US is in their summertime right now, this theme makes sense! Inside you will find 5 full-size makeup products, and this one has left me pretty impressed.

Kokie Professional Strobe Lights Face Highlighter in Radiant | USD $7.00
Youtuber, Tati (GlamLifeGuru) recently did a video featuring some Kokie products and there were some she was raving about, so I was excited to see this inside. It is a cream highlighter in a stick and it comes off super blinding and beautiful on the skin. It has a sponge on the end to help blend it in which isn't terrible although I do prefer my own sponge, brush, or even fingers do the trick. This is definitely one of the highlights (get it...) from the July box.

Laritzy Undressed Liquid Lip Stain in Bare | USD $20.00
I love finding and trying new liquid lips as they are one of my favourite formulas to use. This reminds me a bit of the ColourPop Ultra Blotted Lip formula where it's not fully opaque but instead gives a nice wash of colour. The shade Bare is perfect for me and definitely one that would suit a lot of people.

Laritzy Lip Pencil in Bare | USD $18.00
To add more opacity to the Lip Stain above, there is also a lip pencil in the box from the same brand and in a very complimentary shade.  The pencil is pigmented and not too hard so it glides on to the lips well. It is a great duo and always exciting to try something from a brand I have never encountered before.

Be A Bombshell Eyeshadow Quad in Rome | USD $7.00
In previous beauty boxes from other companies, I have received quite a few Be A Bombshell products, some are ok, others haven't impressed me and I think the packaging is quite cheap. These eyeshadow quads are a bit so-so for me and out of the three I have used (I also have Madrid and Sydney), this one is one of the better ones in terms of pigmentation. The shimmery rusty, terracotta shade is actually really pretty, although the bright yellow threw me through a loop as I am not usually that adventurous with bold colour!

Hikari Shimmer Bronzer in Flush | USD $15.00
This is another brand that often comes in these sorts of beauty boxes, and I actually really enjoy their blushes. This is a shimmering bronzer/blush/highlight in a similar vein to the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks and the like. Swirled together this is very shimmery, but I would imagine for that holiday glow you could make this work. Alternatively, the bronzing shades would be really nice on the lids.

The July box worked out to have a value of USD $67.00 (NZD $92) for 5 full-sized makeup products. Sweet Sparkle ships these boxes worldwide for FREE, and work on a month by month basis. You can sign up for a monthly plan for USD $24.50 a month, or lock in a 3-month, 6-month, or 12-month subscription and they get cheaper the longer you sign up for. Get more details here.
