URBAN DECAY | Naked Petite Heat Palette - Review + Swatches - CassandraMyee

I can pretty much guarantee that most palettes that Urban Decay bring out are going to impress me. I am easily convinced and when one of their 'Naked' ranges drops, I am on to Mecca so quick to snap one up. One of my latest additions that I have been loving the past few months is the Naked Heat's little sister - the Naked Petite Heat Palette.

The Petite Heat is a very handy sized palette containing 6 warm tone shades to compliment the larger palette but also work by itself. It is in line with the other 'Basics' palettes which contain mostly matte shades, those of which I really love. I love the packaging of both of these palettes, the Petite Heat is certainly a lot more eye-catching than the original Basics palettes!

There are six shades in the palette, they market them as all being matte, but the lighter shade in this palette and all the other Basics Palettes has a slight subtle shimmer to it. Urban Decay calls it a 'demi-matte'. The shades are all listed below, and as you can see the pigmentation of these are amazing. They're smooth, not patchy and blend so well.

INHALE | cream demi-matte

VIBRATE | soft nude matte

HOT SPELL | terra-cotta matte

WILD THING | scorched-orange matte

HEIST | rich cayenne matte

STRIKE | rich reddish-brown matte

If you are into your warm toned palettes I couldn't recommend this one enough. It compliments the larger Naked Heat but is also versatile enough on its own. This is available in NZ from Mecca for NZD $52, or in the US for USD $29.

Have you tried any of these palettes? Are you into the current warm toned shadow trend?
